WinBIZ

WinBIZ: commercial management and accounting in the same tool.

Quotes, invoices, stock, payroll and accounting in one place, designed in Valais for Swiss SMEs. We work in yours, and we take over the files that arrive with it.

What we do in WinBIZ

The strength of WinBIZ is that everything starts in the same place. So is the weakness.

Accounting fed by the operations

When invoicing and stock write straight into the accounts, a setup error propagates everywhere. We look for it where it is born, not in the general ledger.

VAT

The return is prepared in the accounting module. We check the VAT codes item by item, because that is where the discrepancies hide in an operational tool.

Payroll

AHV, BVG, UVG, allowances, withholding tax and annual salary certificates. We set it up, we check it and we produce the filings.

Year end

Annual accounts, notes, fixed-asset schedule, and the tidy-up of everything that should have been corrected during the year.

What we check when taking over a WinBIZ file

In an integrated tool, the errors almost always come from upstream.

  • The VAT codes assigned to items and to the sales accounts.
  • The link between invoicing and accounting: invoices never posted, credit notes wrongly entered.
  • The stock valuation and its consistency with the profit and loss account.
  • The payroll setup and its agreement with the statements from the funds.
  • The backups and the version in use, when the installation is local.
The trap of the integrated tool

What goes fast when it is set up right goes fast into the wall when it is not.

A tool where invoicing writes straight into the accounts saves a great deal of time — provided the initial setup is correct. That is why we always start there, before looking at a single account.

Frequently asked questions

Does WinBIZ suit a small structure?

It suits those that invoice a lot or carry stock. For a sole trader with no stock and few invoices it is often oversized: the subscription and the setup time never pay for themselves.

Can you work on our local installation?

Yes, through remote access or from an export. If the installation is local, we check the backup first: it is the most common weak point, and it only shows up the day the machine dies.

What happens if we want to leave it?

The export of entries and balances works, and that is the only thing that matters for what comes next. We ask for that export at handover as a matter of course, even when you intend to stay: it is your safety net.

Who pays for the licence?

You do, and it stays in your name. We bill our time, not a licence resold with a margin on top.

Another package?

We also work with the other tools used in French-speaking Switzerland.

And if yours is not on this list, the question is not whether we know it, but whether your data comes out of it cleanly. Tell us which one it is.

Tell us what you already do yourselves.

The questionnaire takes it into account: the more entry you keep, the lower the estimate.
